Passionate about all things creative, Deirdre especially loves texture, color, and problem-solving. Discovering that communication design was the perfect intersection of those elements, she planned a route to design for graduate school. Deirdre studied design at Pratt Institute and received a masters degree in 2009. She has since been freelancing with various studios/agencies, in-house and directly with clients.
Prior to that, she studied fine art and philosophy at the University of Massachusetts where she received a bachelors in 2002. She has supplemented her design education with coursework in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, and various software training, among others, at NESAD (Boston), MassArt, Harvard, and at Noble Desktop in NY.
Between undergrad & grad school, she worked on grant administration for a Harvard Medical School affiliate non-profit reseach institute and in media/marketing communications, both of which contribute greatly to her project management skills.
